WHAT IS SOFT BRICK?
a soft brick is a process in which you can’t access your phone. it stuck at the boot animation which your phone brand has provided. But, the good thing about it is it can fix by installing its official ROM using Odin through the computer. It occurs when you install any third party ROM or any apps. If you want more information about the soft brick then you can find in google.
WHAT IS HARD BRICK?
A hard brick is a process in which your phone stuck at the boot logo and Can’t boot normally. There is a less chance of bringing that phone normal. It bricks the phone completely and some of the hardware can’t function. It occurs when you try to install the ROM which is not actually provided by the brand. First, there is no such thing as "Odin 9." Second, there is no "official" Android 6.0 ROM available for the SM-820L. Flashing a firmware package intended for another device can be catastrophic to the partition index and firmware configuration. A hard brick is possible. This thread is nothing but a farce and should be removed before some naive Core Prime owner actually believes this and tries it.
ReplyDeleteThere has to be a custom rom that allows conversion of the OS of a SM-S820L to MArshmallow.
ReplyDeleteI am having difficulty in comprehending the tutorials as they make assumptions to the readers prior knowledge. All I know is that there are steps but it seems like the steps are always jumbled as if I know how to arrange them myself. I just want the easiest way to complete an upgrade not a variety of ways to upgrade the phone. JUST ONE WAY ! step by step. How friggin hard is that to convey to these tutors?
