HOW TO CONFIGURE GUEST NETWORK IN WIFI

Hey, guys in this article I am going to show you “How to configure guest network in Wifi“. This method is based on modifying the setting of the wireless router. If you are the owner of the wifi then you can easily enable another wifi with a single router. Enabling guest network didn’t break the security of the network else it will give you the second access to the wifi network.
Guest network option is available on most of the routers. We don’t need any special software to enable the guest network just we need to enable a simple option from our router page.

WHAT IS GUEST NETWORK

The guest network is a kind of system for multiplying the wifi connection. for e.g If we have a wifi in our home then we can able to split the simple wifi to double in the same router. The great thing about it is we can share the guest network to our neighbor for a certain time.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Android/iOS Or PC.
  • wifi router of any brand.
  • IP address of your router page.

HOW TO ENABLE GUEST NETWORK

First, you need to go to wifi router page. In order to go to admin page of router,  you need its IP address for e.g “192.168.10.1” or “192.168.1.1”

After going to the router page you need to log in using your user id and password. If you have DIGICOM Router the user id must be “admin” and password “admin” else if you have any another brand router then you need to search for user id and password in google by writing the router name.
After log in to the wifi admin page, you can see many setting of wifi routers. Be aware while changing the settings of the routers. It can also lead to damage if you misuse its setting.

Tap on “wireless” option and there will be the setting of Guest network.

Tap on the Guest Network Option and Enable the Guest Network and SSID broadcast option to enable the wifi network. You can also give the name of the wifi as well as a secure password.
